    Default 100-105 exam routing protocols

From all of my choices of learning sources and from what I see from the exam topics on the cisco site, the only routing protocols that is really tested on is RIP. The training does mention others such as OSPF, EIGRP, IS_IS, BGP, ect. But they only mention very little details of them. I'm guessing the old exam covered some of these more in depth such as OSPF and maybe that is why I'm seeing a bunch of it. I have taken a few different practice test, some that even claim are for 100-105 and then also some labs which show some material that don't seem to be on the exam objectives.

So show I really learn OSPF which seems the most popular. I only have two weeks before the exam and I would rather concentrate on other things but I kind of wonder if they are going to throw some of this at me.

looking at the exam topics, the 100-105 only covers ripv2

but, the 200-105 covers ospf, eigrp, and ebgp. So, you will get to know them soon.

that's all fine. I've seen the ICND2 objectives. I rather worry about that after I pass ICND2.

With the other protocols I know the basics of distance vector vs link state, administrative distance, convergence time, ipv6 compatibility and such.

Since it's not on the exam topics and you already know the basics I wouldn't worry about digging deeper until ICND2, especially if your exam is in 2 weeks. You're right, I did the old ICND1 exam and it covered OSPF upto configuration/troubleshooting and there was no chapter on RIP.

Where are you sourcing the practice questions? I've found some Pearson questions that are beyond the scope of what you need to know, I think they throw them just to give you a better understanding of the topic.

This is the last practice test I recall. It is labeled to be for version 100-105 but has a significant amount of OSPF in it.

I took the 100-105, and I didn't have any OSPF configuration/troubleshooting problems. The only problems pertaining to OSPF was basic questions, like AD and distance vector vs link state and the such.
